Brian Zimerle has taught ceramics, sculpture, and three-dimensional design at Cedarville University since 2013. He previously taught for 10 years at various institutions and has worked as a fabricator for a sculptor, a preparator in a fine art gallery, an exhibit designer in a museum, and as an artist. His own art work spans three-dimensional media and draws on a variety of influences. Having a wide breadth of skills and experiences, he strives to expose his students to different media and techniques. He then guides them to be proficient in the ones they love.
