Cedarville University's theatre program, offered through the department of art, design and theatre, is a comprehensive program providing training in stage performance, technical theatre, design, theatre history, dramaturgy, theatre education, and religious drama. Three annual main stage productions along with senior theatre capstone projects complement course work. Faculty guidance is provided for securing theatre internships, theatre employment, and graduate study.
The theatre major is a rigorous program with two concentrations: design and performance. Our graduates are well-prepared for graduate schools, educational programs, professional theatre, public media, and ministry settings. They excel in their art as they honor God with their lives.
