Faculty in Focus

Experience - The Biblical and ministry studies department has more than 20 full-time faculty who specialize in teaching Bible, Greek language study, theology, cross-cultural missionary service, urban ministries, women's ministries, youth ministries, and philosophy.

Ministry - Bible faculty are actively involved in outside ministry that enhances their classroom ministry as well. They serve as interim pastors, part-time pastoral staff, ministry consultants, and leaders of short-term mission trips.

Research - Faculty are active contributors to the field of research and have contributed to journals such as Bibliotheca Sacra, Journal of the Evangelical Theological Society, Journal for the Study of the New Testament, Novum Testamentum, Themelios, Tyndale Bulletin, and Westminster Theological Journal.

Teaching Materials - Bible faculty have produced multimedia CDs that accompany the college textbook Encountering the New Testament by Baker Books. They have also written numerous adult Bible study curricula.
