Richard Anglin is the chairman and a principal shareholder of Angell-Demmel, an international group of companies that design and manufacture aluminum decorative trim for the worldwide automotive industry. Angell-Demmel’s customers include Audi, BMW, Chrysler, Ford, GM, Honda, Mercedes, Nissan, Peugeot, Toyota, and Volkswagen. Angell-Demmel employs more than 600 people at facilities in North America (Dayton, Ohio, and Lebanon, Kentucky), Europe (Lindau, Germany), and Asia (Fuqing, China).

Richard joined Angell-Demmel in 1996 after a ten-year career with the Ohio law firm Porter, Wright, Morris, and Arthur. A certified public accountant (non-practicing), he concentrated his legal practice on mergers and acquisitions as well as tax and business planning for commercial and nonprofit organizations.

Richard is a graduate of Wright State University (B.S. in Accounting, 1982) and the University of Dayton School of Law (J.D., Summa Cum Laude, 1986). He has also served as the editor-in-chief of the University of Dayton’s Dayton Law Review.

Richard and his wife, Sylvia, have been married for 25 years. They have two sons, Nathaniel (18) and William (16), who attend Hargrave Military Academy. The Anglin family attends Apex Community Church in Kettering, Ohio.

In addition to participating in professional, civic, and charitable activities, Richard enjoys skiing, reading, music, and travel.
