This course will focus on introducing students to Small Business and Entrepreneurship. Topics will include personal characteristics of entrepreneurs, issues involving the uniqueness of family business, what small business owner/manager and entrepreneurs can expect life to be like, the difference between a small business and entrepreneurial business, and overview of business models, an introduction to finding and/or evaluating a business opportunity, and the operational basics of starting and running a small or entrepreneurial business.
