A study of the interrelationships among plants, animals, and microbes and with their environment. Bsic theory of biotic communities and ecosystems will provide insights about energy flow, nutrient cycling, and responses to natural and human disturbances of terrestrial, aquatic, and wetland systems. Two lectures and one 3-hr laboratory per week.
