Introduction to the field of biomedical engineeering and the application of engineering to the field of medicine; fundamental aspects of measuring and modeling physiological systems, biomedical device design, tissue engineering, bioelectric phenomena, biosensors, physiological modeling, biomedical imaging, and biomaterials.
