The history program encourages students to evaluate the historical narrative based on biblical principle, resulting in an integrated interpretation. Traditionally a key component of the classical liberal arts education, history and the skills demanded by the historical process provide a necessary foundation for learning. The program prepares students for graduate work or for careers in a variety of fields including government, law, business, education, public history, and the Gospel ministry.
Program Requirements
The major requirements consist of 35 semester hours, including 33 hours of core requirements and 12 hours of history electives. More information, including a suggested 4-year plan, is available in the online catalog.
