Jesus said that we are "the salt of the earth" and "the light of the world" (Matt. 5:13–14).
Do you want to be “salt” and “light” to a broken world? If so, aspire to become a gatekeeper in government or a nonprofit organization by studying public administration. Students are challenged to be leaders in government, and to make a difference for the Kingdom. Proverbs 29:2 says that “when the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice, but when the wicked rule, the people mourn.”
Students in the public administration major have the choice of a four-year undergraduate program or a five-year dual degree program ending in B.A. in public administration and a Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.).
As a public administration major, you will receive one-on-one advising in the following areas:
- Undergraduate course work that will best prepare you for success in government and nonprofit administration
- Best organizational experiences and internships
- Best practices in administration, law, and business from a biblical perspective
