NASPE/ESPN Play Your Way
A new youth fitness initiative that empowers children ages 7-12 to get active by creating physically active games. College and university clubs and organizations whose student members major in sport, physical education and related areas can lead an ESPN Play Your Way club. ESPN Play Your Way clubs meet regularly to create and play physically active games. The role of a student majors club is to empower children to use their imaginations to create physically active games using traditional and non-traditional gear.
Becoming involved in the Special Olympics, we believe is a great way to give back to the community. There are many opportunities in the surrounding counties through out the year. Our goal is to make it an annual event for the organization.
Campus Wide Events
We believe that we have an obligation to provide opportunities for the students to get excited and involved with physical activity. It would be a great promotion and possible fundraisers to hold different tournaments through out the year.
