Principles of Teaching Adolescent/Young Adult

EDSE-4100

An introduction to the objectives, skills, and instructional strategies needed for the teaching of adolescent and young adult students. This course will include instruction in Value Added assessment. An associated field experience gives students an opportunity to apply the knowledge and skills learned in the course which will include an evaluation of each candidate's ability to use Value Added assessment. Prerequisite: admission to the teacher education program. Corequisite: other courses in the AYA Principles of Teaching block.
