A presentation of the techniques of collaboration and consultation needed to enhance the teacher candidate's communication with individuals with special needs, parents, educational team members, and other professionals. Also includes strategies for adapting and modifying instruction for students with special needs and an introduction to assistive technology. Prerequisite: admission to the Teacher Education Program.
