An introductory survey to the complexities of the education, as well as cultural competency issues that accompany various aspects of multicultural education. General overview of the racial, social and cultural aspects of teaching students from diverse backgrounds, particularly as they relate to urban schooling. Initial aspects of teaching and classroom management are introduced and demonstrated.
