Advanced Literary Theory

LIT-4310

A study of the theoretical methods that currently drive research in the field of English studies. Marxism, Femininst and Gender theories, Structuralism, Post-Structuralism, Cultural Criticism, Psychological Criticism, Reader-Response theories, and Formalist approaches will be analyzed from a Christian perspective. Prerequisite: LIT-2090 Literary Analysis.
