Sheridan Currie, Studio Instructor for Music and Worship
Sheridan Currie is principal violist of the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra. She also performs regularly with the Cincinnati and Columbus Symphonies and frequently appears in chamber music performances throughout the area. She studied with Baltimore Symphony principal violist Richard Field at Peabody and with Masao Kawasaki and Catharine Carroll at CCM, where she was a teaching assistant in the Kawasaki/Carroll studio. She enjoys teaching viola and violin privately and is a teaching artist with the DPO’s SPARK program, which does outreach and arts integration in local schools.
