Biography

Dr. Jaquith teaches courses in music theory, composition, and technology as well as having an active presence as a composer both locally and nationally. Recent performances of his compositions include Blaze of Autumn by the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, Quintet for Brass by the Mirari Brass Quintet on their Southwest tour; Concertino, premiered by Chuck Clevenger at Cedarville University, and Kinesis by the Dayton Philharmonic Youth Orchestra. Dr. Jaquith also recently placed as a finalist in the Christian Worldview Film Festival’s Film Scoring Competition, and is working on a score for a short film The Antidote of Life by writer and director Olayinka Hassan.
