Doug Atkins, Piano Technician

Piano Technician

Biography

Mr. Atkins keeps Cedarville’s fleet of pianos in tune and in top-playing condition. He served as Concert Technician for Interlochen Arts Camp in the summer of 1997, and in addition to his duties at Cedarville, he also currently maintains the pianos for the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra, The Springfield Symphony, the Dayton Opera, and the Fraze Pavilion. He has been at Cedarville since 2001.

Why I love teaching at CU

The students are respectful and polite. Terrific academic environment. I can maintain the pianos at performance levels for concerts, programs, recitals and in the teaching classrooms.
