The Wellness Program invites you to participate in the Annual Faithful in Training (FIT) Challenge, which begins Sunday, January 29, 2012
The annual Cedarville University FIT Challenge is a 12 week incentive program designed to help you and your family be "faithful in training" as you strive to be more active and stay active. The program is designed for people of all ages and abilities, and is open to all Cedarville University faculty and staff. If you've been thinking, "I need to be more active," the challenge is a great opportunity to get started. If you're already active, sign up and be encouraged.
When you register for the challenge, you choose your activity, time, and place. There are 2 participation levels:
- Level One - 30+ minutes of moderate exercise 4 times/week for 12 weeks.
- Level Two - 30+ minutes of moderate/strenuous exercise 5 times/week for 12 weeks.
Moderate exercise includes brisk walking (3-4 miles per hour), jogging, running, cycling, raking leaves, mowing lawns with a push mower, exercise classes, and strength training.
Spouses of University employees and children in grades K-12 are also welcome to sign up for the challenge.
