Dr. Randy Johnson serves as a Professor of Nursing and has been with Cedarville University since 2009. Prior to coming to Cedarville University, Randy taught for 10 years in undergraduate and graduate nursing, face-to-face and online, in Florida. Randy teaches in both the undergraduate and graduate programs. Pediatrics is his specialty, and he has taught courses in pharmacology, policy, and pathophysiology. Prior to teaching in the academic setting, Randy worked as a clinical nurse specialist for the pediatric intensive care unit. He also has been a nurse manager in two diverse clinical settings, as well as extensive clinical work in pediatric medical surgical areas and intensive care for pediatrics and adults.

Randy is married to a 1986 Cedarville nursing graduate, and they have two sons who are active in athletics. Randy also enjoys music and participates with the worship team at his church as well as local productions in Cedarville.
