American Church History

HIST-3310

A survey of major trends, ideas and individuals in the history of the church in America from the 1600s to the present, including the theological roots of American theology. Special attention will be given to the Puritans, Jonathan Edwards, the rise of the Social Gospel and theological liberalism.
