Reading and critical analysis of representative novels written in Enlish. Authors include Fielding, Barnes, Rushdie, Gordimer, and Greene. Upper level literature courses cannot be used as a substitution for the general education literature requirement. Prerequisites: LIT-2090 Literary Analysis and LIT-2430 Survey of British Literature to 1800 or LIT-2440 Survey of British Literature from 1800 to Present; or permission of instructor.
