I am the President of the Chinese American Educational Research and Development Association (CAERDA). Our organization has over 400 members in North America, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China and other parts of the world. I was the Program Co-Chair of the 9th CAERDA International Conference held in Columbus, Ohio on September 22, 2001.

I am also a member of the American Psychological Association (APA) and the National Council of Measurement in Education (NCME). Since 1982, I have been a member of the American Educational Research Association (AERA) where I belong to the special interest groups of faculty evaluation and educational statisticians.
