The goal of this resource is to give you the opportunity to assess yourself in regard to your readiness for calculus. Cedarville University does not receive any of your grade information on this exam. Note that, no matter how well you do on this Online Calculus Assessment Exam, you will take the official Cedarville Calculus Readiness Exam upon arrival to the campus, which you and your academic advisor will use to determine the mathematics course with which you should begin at Cedarville. Our hope is that you can utilize this online exam to help determine whether you ought to take additional preparatory courses (such as college algebra and precalculus) before arriving at Cedarville.

You should not use calculators or other materials as aids during this exam. The only items you should have are a writing utensil and some scratch paper. Also, you should complete this exam in 40 minutes at most. The exam which is given on campus is a 30-minute exam in which no calculators are permitted, so for "comparison's sake," you should treat this online exam as a timed exercise as well and refrain from using your calculator.
