Lynne Brown knows where she is going! Since the day she married her husband, Bill, president of Cedarville University, she has been prepared to go wherever God calls them. Little did she know that in 1976, the year they married, God would call them out of Florida and eventually lead them to snowy Ohio and Cedarville University.

The Browns met at church. Bill was there visiting supporting churches for a drug counseling ministry he was involved in. In her own words, Lynne "noticed him right away and was glad he began attending regularly." After dating for about a year and serving in ministry together, they married and settled down to raise a family and continue serving God.

Bill and Lynne have two children, April and Alex, who bring much joy to the family. April was married in December to Jared Watson. They are both completing a Master of Philosophy at Franciscan University. Alex is a junior at CU majoring in prelaw and serving in ROTC Army and Army Reserves.
