Women for Scholarship is a volunteer organization which seeks to raise scholarship funding to support Cedarville University Students. Our desire is to support one student from each class. In our initial year, we will select one incoming freshman, one sophomore, one junior and one senior.
Hereafter, we will select one freshman each year and commit to assisting that student with financial aid through their senior year. Our hope is to add additional aid or additional students as our resources enable us to do so.
To receive a Women for Scholarship award; a student may qualify by demonstrating financial need through the financial aid office. As a freshman, that student shall additionally qualify with an ACT score of 23 or higher (or SAT equivalent). To remain qualified through the sophomore year, the student shall maintain a GPA of 2.7 or higher. For the junior and senior years, a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher is required.
Other desirable qualifications Women for Scholarship looks for in a student recipient are Christ-like character, service and involvement in leadership or outreach.
