The Cedarville University Alumni Association has contracted with Publishing Concepts, Inc. (PCI) to produce a printed alumni directory for Cedarville's 125th Anniversary, and we need your help. Over the next few months, PCI will contact CU alumni by mail, phone, and email to request updated information from you.
We understand that you might not want to provide information to just anyone, so please be assured that their request for information is legitimate. Below is a list of frequently asked questions about the alumni directory. Thank you in advance for your participation!
Cedarville recently converted to a new database and we need to update our information. Mailing addresses, email addresses, number of children — information changes so quickly! This is a great time to make sure that Cedarville has up-to-date information about you and your family. The 2012 printed directory will be a permanent record for Cedarville, capturing all those who attended the University and showing where they are in 2012.
It is also a great way for you and your friends and former classmates to stay connected.
You will be asked the following questions:
- Full Name
- Maiden Name (if applicable)
- Professional suffix (Esq., CPA, etc.)
- Graduating class year
- Home address
- Home phone
- Preferred email
- Home church
- Job title
- Business address
- Business email
- Business phone
- Postgraduate degrees you have received (school, degree, and date received)
- Family members (spouse, kids [ages are helpful with kids, so we know when we can send them a Cedarville brochure!])
- Would you like to purchase the 2012 alumni directory?
With a small alumni relations staff, Cedarville needs to use a professional company to ensure that the directory is comprehensive, accurate, and completed in a timely fashion.
The directory will be completed and available late fall 2012. In order to be cost-efficient and environmentally responsible, PCI will print only the number of directories that were requested by alumni.
Yes, alumni may purchase the alumni directory on CD.
Yes. As a standard, the following information will be printed in the directory:
- Full name including the surname you used while at Cedarville (if different from your current last name)
- Class year
- Home mailing address
- Preferred email address
- Degrees received from Cedarville and other institutions
- Job title and company
You may choose to have specific details omitted from the directory.
Currently, this is the preferred method for PCI.
