Children’s ministry efforts have encouraged new, as well as, established ministries. MIS has sent multiple teams since 1971 to countries such as Hungary, England, Liberia, Togo, Australia, South Africa, Mexico, Romania, Zambia, Chile and Italy. The team’s ministries would include VBS type programs, puppets, crafts, music/drama, teaching English and computers and interacting on a casual level, while working with missionaries or national pastors.
As with all MIS teams those interested in serving in this capacity must complete the application process which will include an interview with the team leader.
These students raise financial and prayer support for the team ministry through interested donors. Upon returning from the field, team members report to their churches and contributors about their ministry.
Contact the MIS Office or a team leader listed below for more information.
