Purpose:
To help students acclimate to college life and meet new friends
Participants:
All international students (non-U.S. citizens) and third-culture students (Americans living out of the country for various reasons)
Activities:
- Fun activities - shopping, miniature golf, ice cream, etc.
- Campus tour
- Student Panel
- Workshop Topics:
- How to get connected to ministries, clubs, and organizations
- Cultural/academic adjustment
- Driver's license/Social Security information/Banking
Parents:
Lodging is available locally. Most meals will be provided for family members with exception of lunches. Family members are welcome to join the group for lunch, but those meals will not be provided.
Schedule:
Tuesday, August 13
- Registration - move into dorm room, access student mailbox, etc.
