Mark your calendar now and plan to attend the Worship 4:24 Conference at Cedarville University on January 30-31, 2015. This conference will be featuring Jared Anderson and band of New Life Church in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Co-sponsored by the State Convention of Baptists in Ohio and Cedarville University Department of Music and Worship, this conference is designed to equip worship leaders, musicians, bands, praise teams, choirs, tech crews, and students to be effective leaders.

Registration

The Worship 4:24 conference requires each attendee to complete a registration form for each attendee to be completed online or call 1-877-CEDARVILLE (233-2784).

Cost

Super Early Bird registration (September 1 through October 31): $30.00 per person ($20.00 per student “7th grade – College”)

Early Bird registration (November 1 through December 20): $40.00 per person ($20.00 per student “7th grade – College”)

Regular registration (December 21 through January 18): $49.95 per person ($30.00 per student “7th grade – College”)

*Registration fees are due by and are nonrefundable after the deadline on January 18, 2014.

Note for churches: If you wish to pay for multiple registrants with a single check, please mark “Pay by Postal Mail” on each attendee’s registration and then send your check and registrant’s names to:

Jared Anderson

Jared Anderson


Jared is a Christian artist based at New Life Church in Colorado Springs,Colorado. He is a founding member of Desperation Band and has written worship songs such as “Rescue”, “Amazed”, and “Great I Am”. Jared and his wife Megan have 4 children and are in the process of adopting two more little ones from Haiti. You can keep up with all these happenings at jaredanderson.com.

Pastor Mark Smith


Mark Smith is a man who loves God, loves His people, loves to preach the Word, and loves to grow God’s Kingdom. He has a true pastor’s heart and his passion for preaching is evident in his preparation, delivery and genuine love for people.

Mark is 55 years old and has been married to Toni for 35 years. They have two grown sons, both of whom have also followed God’s call for ministry. A native of Columbus Ohio, he has spent the last 31 years pursuing God’s call through preaching, teaching and music ministries.

Prior to coming to First Baptist Jackson, he served for 8 years as the senior pastor of Murdock Baptist Church in Port Charlotte, Florida, seeing that church steadily grow from 140 to nearly 1,000 in attendance. As a devoted expositor of God’s Word, he has a heart for advancing God's Kingdom through discipleship and missions

Mark spent the first fifteen years of ministry as a music and worship pastor, serving churches in Ohio and Georgia. In 1992, God's call changed his direction of ministry, and he began to prepare at Ashland Theological Seminary for the ministry of preaching and teaching. Mark graduated from ATS in 1998 with a Master's degree in Christian Education. His undergraduate degree is in Music Education from Ohio State University in 1987.
