This is an in-depth study of the theological, philosophical, and ethical issues relating to the end of life. The course will include discussions of clinical issues related to terminal illness, futility theory, brain death, the persistent vegetative state, euthanasia, assisted suicide, and hospice. Prerequisite: BIOE-6100 Principles of Bioethics
