An introduction to the use of geographical information systems (GIS). Topics of emphasis are related to the fields in which these systems are used including, biology, environmental chemistry, epidemiology, geography, geology, & economics. Students will analyze geographical data in order to present potential solutions to a variety of situations. Two, one-hour lectures and one, two- hour lab per week.
