FORS-3400

This course will apply a student's knowledge of chemistry and biology to specific forensic analyses. Topics to be covered will include matching of paint and glass samples, use of GC/ Mass Spectrometry and IR spectroscopy to identify controlled substances, analysis of explosives and fuel residues, DNA typing, fingerprint examination, document examination, and giving of expert testimony.
