A survey of the sciences of physics, chemistry, and astronomy. Major lecture topics include motion, force, energy, heat, waves, electricity, optics, quantum effects, periodic table, chemical bonds, chemical reactions, astronomical measurements, and the origin of the universe. Content of this course will be related to social and philosophical issues to emphasize a Christian's responsibility in a technological society. Lecture three times per week, laboratory on alternate weeks. This course satisfies the physical science requirement of the general education requirements.
