PEAE-1400

Introduces students to the basics of weight training. Included are weight training principles, terminology, safety procedures, types and techniques of training, and how to create one's own weight training program. The goals of the course are to provide each student with the knowledge and skills necessary to initiate a weight-training program that can adequately and safely meet each student's needs throughout his or her lifetime.
