Joel Tomkinson leads efforts to generate qualified leads for the Cedarville University’s graduate and adult programs through intentional and strategic external initiatives. Efforts include key representation at events, visits to organizations, and the development of strategic relationships with organizations and individuals who can contribute to the success of these efforts.
Prior to joining University Admissions in October 2013, Joel was the University's Director of Marketing. Advancing the identity of Cedarville University, his responsibilities included serving as editor of Cedarville Magazine; overseeing the marketing effectiveness of the University’s website, social media, and e-communication; and pursuing new marketing opportunities and program launches.
Joel has served at Cedarville since 2003 in various marketing and networking roles with both the Christian ministries and enrollment management and marketing divisions.
Outside of the office, Joel and his wife enjoy connecting with good friends, traveling and experiencing new cultures, being immersed in a good book, experimenting in the culinary arts, and gardening.
