A presentation of the learning theory, motivation, and behavioral approaches to management of the social and academic environment of learners with mild-moderate special educational needs. Emphasis is on functional assessment and the behavioral intervention process. Prerequisite: admission to the Teacher Education Program. Corequisite: other courses in the Special Education block.
