Survey of significant European and American philosohpies of the 19th and early 20th centuries from Hegel to the first World War. Special attention will be given to Hegelianism, early existentialism, pragmatism, and analytic philosohpy. Prerequisite: BEPH-2200 Introduction to Philosophy. (odd years)
