Teaching Methods and Strategies

This course is designed to provide an analysis of teaching and learning strategies for effective functioning as a nurse educator. Use of evidence-based educational strategies, assessment of learners, and implementation of various instructional techniques for classroom and clinical instruction are emphasized. Strategies for promoting critical judgment and clinical decision making, including the use of technology and simulation are included.
