Biography

Mrs. Lefever serves as assistant professor of nursing. She received her B.S.N. from Goshen College in 1983, her Neonatal Nurse Practitioner certification from Georgetown University in 1991, and her M.S. from SUNY-Stonybrook in 2004.  She and her husband have one son. Suzanne has been at Cedarville since 2001.

Professional Services:

  • Lancaster General Hospital Clinical Practice Council Subcommittee member for the development of the Registered Nurse Clinical Ladder based on Pat Benner’s model “Novice to Expert,” 1995–1997
  • Lancaster General Hospital Clinical Ladder Recognition Council member for the purpose of reviewing advanced-level portfolios and integration of the clinical ladder into the performance appraisal process, 1997–2001
  • Actively involved in the planning of Lancaster General Hospital’s Women and Babies Hospital, 1998–2000
