A study of the curriculum, methods, and resources for teaching and writing and assessment of the language arts at the middle school level. Emphasis will be on an integrated reading/writing/ language arts program and its importance across the curriculum. Prerequisite: admission to the teacher education program. Corequisite: other courses in the M.C. Methods I block.
