An introduction to the objectives, skills, instructional strategies, teaching aids, and resource materials for teaching reading and the language arts to students with and without mild- moderate needs at the early childhood level. Prerequisite: admission to the teacher education program and major in special education. Corequisite: other courses in the Early Childhood Methods I block.
