An examination of the theories, research, and practices of adapting and modifying curriculum, instruction, and the learning environment for students with special educational needs. An accompanying clinical experience allows teacher candidates to implement what they have learned. Prerequisite: Admission to the Teacher Education Program. Corequisite: Enrollment in the other courses in the Special Education block.
