The School of Business Administration (SBA), in the College of Professions, invites applications for adjunct professors of business administration. The SBA is ACBSP-accredited and is comprised of 14 full-time and 5 part-time faculty members serving more than 300 business majors and minors. The SBA offers programs in accounting, finance, global economics and international business, information technology management, management, marketing, sport management and a graduate program.

Position Description:
The Department of Music and Worship, in the College of Arts and Sciences, invites applications for dynamic and creative instructors of classical and/or contemporary voice who will teach music minors and hobbyists in a private lesson setting.
Positions are subject to Cedarville University policies, verification of credentials and other information required by law. Key responsibilities of these positions include:

Teach classical and/or contemporary voice in the private lesson setting

Adjudication in worship juries and auditions

Contribute to the development of the worship program by joining the strong team of worship faculty

Assist in the recruitment of students into the worship program

Maintain a professional career appropriate for the discipline

Develop and maintain collegial relationships in the department
Position Requirements:

Master’s degree preferred, in a field related to the job responsibilities

Five years of private studio teaching preferred
-
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as a team member

Excellent written and oral communication skills
-
Excellent musicianship
-
Record of successful college-level teaching

Staff Accountant · Accounting and Finance Department
Cedarville University is seeking an entry level Staff Accountant to support the Accounting and Finance Department with basic accounting functions such as journal entries, bank and GL reconciliations, daily and monthly reports, internal controls and other related accounting and finance tasks. This is a full-time, twelve-month, non-exempt position that reports to the Director of Accounting Services.
Position Responsibilities:

Assist the Director of Accounting with the annual financial audit by posting year end entries, general ledger review and reconciliation, balance sheet accruals and maintaining audit files and records
-
Post daily and monthly journal entries and scan support documentation
-
Review and resolve daily GL posting issues, and electronically save data in a systematic format
-
Oversee purchase card system and follow up on credit card fraud alerts and notices
-
Provide support for compliance reporting (990, EADA, FISAP, IPEDS, etc.)
-
Download and process cleared checks electronically from bank
-
Complete monthly reconciliation of bank accounts
-
Monitor and reconcile general ledger balances
-
Participate in cash flow planning team and produce month end reports
-
Oversee state unclaimed funds process
Position Requirements:
-
Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred or actively working toward a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business related area of study
-
Possess high proficiency in Excel and Word
-
Ability to understand and correct complex financial transactions and systems in a timely manner
-
Ability to manage multiple financial projects simultaneously with speed and accuracy
-
Ability to work independently with clear understanding of priorities
-
Ability to maintain confidentiality
