Position Description:

The School of Business Administration (SBA), in the College of Professions, invites applications for adjunct professors of business administration. The SBA is ACBSP-accredited and is comprised of 14 full-time and 5 part-time faculty members serving more than 300 business majors and minors. The SBA offers programs in accounting, finance, global economics and international business, information technology management, management, marketing, sport management and a graduate program.

Key responsibilities of these positions include: 

 

  • Delivering education in adherence to the syllabus and online course developed by the Cedarville SBA faculty
  • Teaching online courses in accordance with University and SBA guidelines
  • Availability on weekends or evenings for frequent and timely communication
  • Motivating and assisting students in completion of course learning objectives
  • Actively committing to student spiritual formation and growth
  • Maintaining a strong commitment to excellence in an online education environment

Position Requirements:

The Cedarville University School of Biblical and Theological Studies (SBTS) invites applications for full-time, tenure-track assistant or associate professor position in missions and theology to begin August of 2014.

Teaching responsibilities include Bible Minor courses, specifically Spiritual Formation, Theology 1 and Theology 2.   • Communicate with ATEP Program Director, Clinical Education Coordinator and Medical Director regarding education and program policies
  • Ensure proper documentation of athletic injuries as required for licensure documentation, insurance information and athletic health care management
  • Assist and advise coaching staff in the implementation of appropriate conditioning, strengthening and flexibility specific to the demands of the sport
  • Serve as teaching faculty in the didactic setting (6 hours annually) and as an active preceptor in a clinical setting Coordinate medical coverage for G-MAC, NCAA or NCCAA tournament events hosted by the University
  • Ensure that CU athletes meet the medical standards set forth by the Campus Physician and the NCAA
  • Coordinate weekly or biweekly staff meetings where current issues and/or problems can be discussed
  • Evaluate athletic injury severity and decipher disposition by providing appropriate emergency care
  • Maintain a commitment to NCAA, Conference or University rules and University rule compliance
  • Organize setup procedures and physician coverage for pre-season physicals
  • Coordinate and supervise NCAA and University drug testing programs

Position Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in related field
  • Possess NATABOC certification and approved as a clinical instructor; supervisor experience preferred
  • Possess experience as an Athletic Trainer;  three years NCAA Division II experience preferred
  • Possess First Aid/ CPR certification; AED Instructor preferred
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Possess computer skills; proficiency in Microsoft Word, Access and PowerPoint preferred
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to climb stairs and lift objects weighing up to 25 pounds
