The Department of Art, Design, and Theatre is seeking adjunct professors in Web Design housed within the Graphic Design program beginning August, 2012. These positions involve teaching undergraduate, studio-based web and interactive design courses and select Graphic Design courses.

Qualifications include a M.F.A. in Graphic Design, Web Design, or equivalent, or a bachelor’s degree with active pursuit of a M.F.A. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have college-level teaching experience, have substantial professional experience in web design, and committed to biblical integration in and out of the classroom. Available classes include Web Design, Advanced Web Design, and Interactive Interface Design with Flash. Emergency Medical Service Instructor - Center for Life Long Learning

The Center for Life Long Learning, College of Extended Learning, is seeking qualified candidates for a part time, non-exempt position as an Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Adjunct Instructor that reports to the EMS Coordinator. The primary responsibility of this position is to provide all levels of instruction to EMS students at Cedarville University. Duties include, presentation of lecture for all levels of EMS instruction, practical lab instruction, testing of all practical skills for all EMS levels and duties as assigned.

Qualified applicants must possess a current EMS instructor certificate up to and including EMT-P. Recent experience in instruction of EMS students is preferred. The qualified candidate will have the ability to use computer equipment and software packages such as Microsoft Office. Qualified applicants must be willing to work variable shifts depending on departmental need. The ideal candidate must be a good communicator and have positive influence with students. Physical requirements include ability to walk and stand for long periods of time, climb stairs, lift potentially heavy objects, reach, pull, bend, and utilize EMS equipment and supplies.
