Admissions Coordinator • School of Pharmacy
This is a full-time, twelve-month, exempt position that reports to the Assistant Dean of the School of Pharmacy.
The purpose of this position is to assist the Assistant Dean in the admissions and operations functions of the Department. Duties of the position are as follows: coordinate admissions operations, counsel prospective students, and provide or coordinate office administrative support.
Qualified applicant must possess a Bachelor’s degree; two to five years of experience in higher education or related field; outstanding interpersonal communication skills and enthusiasm for the University; an orientation toward details, organization, and productivity; excellent writing skills; and a proven track record of meeting deadlines and achieving goals. Supervisory experience is preferred.
Physical requirements include the ability to operate a computer to produce documents and presentations; to carry and construct promotional displays and related materials (up to 40 pounds in weight) for events; to conduct professional conversations with positive results; and to coordinate and schedule events with minimal supervision.

Admissions Counselor • Admissions • Enrollment Management and Marketing Division
This is a full-time, twelve-month, exempt position that reports to the Director of Admissions.
The purpose of this position is to effectively assist in all activities related to the recruitment, admission, and enrollment of undergraduate students. This position will represent the University at various off-campus recruitment events; assist in the coordination of campus visits; develop and present recruitment information to guests formally and informally; assist in reviewing and following up with undergraduate applications, and other duties as assigned.

Assistant Athletic Trainer • Athletic Department
This is a full-time, twelve-month, exempt position that reports to the Head Athletic Trainer.
The purpose of this position is to provide care of student athletes competing in the University’s athletic program. The Assistant Athletic Trainer is responsible for the prevention, evaluation, management and rehabilitation of injuries within the University’s comprehensive sports medicine program.
Qualified applicant must possess a Bachelor degree in Athletic training or related field, Master’s preferred; BOC Certification; licensed to practice athletic training in the state of Ohio; and be an approved Clinical Instructor.
Physical requirements include the ability to display neuromuscular control to perform physical examinations using accepted techniques. Mental requirements include the ability to integrate concepts to formulate assessment; communicate effectively and sensitively with patients and colleagues; adjust to changing clinical situations; demonstrate appropriate demeanor relating to professional education and quality patient care.

Assistant to the Circulation Services Manager • Centennial Library
This is a part-time, non-exempt position that reports to the Circulation Services Manager. Anticipated work schedule is 30 hours per week, August through May.
The purpose of this position is to provide services at the circulation desk; to assist in the operations of circulation services which include providing oversight for circulation services, processing and maintaining print and media reserve materials, assisting with the in-service training and supervision of Library Student assistants, assist in the development and maintain competency of circulation procedures and policies; and to maintain a working familiarity with relevant library computer technology.

Custodian • Custodial Services
This is a full-time, twelve-month, non-exempt position that reports to the Manager of Custodial Services.
The purpose of this position is to effectively care for the cleanliness of the assigned building(s) and make minor repairs as necessary. Duties involve dusting office and/or classroom furniture, vacuuming carpets, cleaning glass doors, washing mirrors and windows, and cleaning restrooms.
Qualified applicant must have a high school diploma or GED. Some experience is preferred.
Physical requirements include ability to lift, move, and carry objects up to 75 pounds; and to work in conditions with routine discomforts such as moderate heat, cold, moisture, and noise. Duties require exposure to chemical substances. Work requires visual ability for accuracy and neatness.

Director of Assessment • School of Pharmacy
This is a full-time, twelve-month, exempt position that reports to the Associate Dean of the School of Pharmacy.
The purpose of this position is to provide administrative oversight for the School’s Assessment Plan and manage the administrative components of curriculum adjustments. Duties of the position are as follows: to serve as the academic quality assurance officer, communicate assessment data to appropriate bodies, coordinate pre-pharmacy and professional program curricular changes ensuring appropriate documentation to all stakeholders; and to assume responsibility for the alignment of school-wide outcomes to facilitate continuous quality improvement.
Qualified applicant must possess a Master’s degree, preferably in Education or a related field; a minimum of three years of experience in education and/ or assessment; and outstanding interpersonal communication skills.

Director of Project Management • College of Extended Learning
This is a full-time, twelve-month, exempt position that reports to the Senior Associate Academic Vice President.
The purpose of this position is to coordinate projects and work activities related to academic program development for the College of Extended Learning. Duties of the position are as follows: plan, direct, and manage the implementation of programs in association with the academic departments; develop full-scale project plans and associated communication documents; plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using project management tools; supervise project team members and contractors; and other duties as assigned.

HVAC Technician · Physical Plant / Operations
This is a full-time, twelve-month, non-exempt position that reports to the Manager of Mechanicals.
The purpose of this position is to provide service for all heating, ventilating, air condition and refrigeration equipment and controls. Duties of the position include the daily tasks associated with the installation and repair of boilers, furnaces, heaters, heat pumps, window air units, refrigerators, freezers, ice machines and drinking fountains. Qualified candidate will also keep accurate logs of service, read and interpret schematic drawings and blue prints, and other duties as assigned.
Qualified applicant must possess a high school diploma or GED, HVAC certification, experience with related tools and devices, three years of previous HVAC related experience, and a valid Ohio driver’s license.
Physical requirements include the ability to lift or carry objects up to 100 pounds on occasion with routine lifting of up to 50 pounds; the ability to operate drills, saws and other power tools; and the ability to bend, climb and crawl into small spaces. This position is routinely exposed to heat, cold, moisture, noise and light chemical substances related to duties. This position will be on an on-call rotation for emergency services.

Instructional Designer • Center for Teaching and Learning
This is a full-time, twelve-month, exempt position that reports to the Manager of the Center for Teaching and Learning.
The purpose of this position is to plan innovative learning solutions for both traditional and distance education classes. Duties of the position are as follows: develop a working, consultative relationship with Cedarville faculty from all major disciplines; conduct extensive, complete needs analysis including audience and technology components; design innovative, instructional solutions that meet the needs identified; research accepted and emerging solutions for instructional needs; and other duties as assigned.
Qualified applicant must possess a graduate degree in instructional design or a related field; have experience designing instruction for higher education; be attentive to detail; possess excellent organizational, communication and presentation skills; have experience with learning management systems such as Moodle, WebCT or Blackboard; and be self-motivated, flexible, poised, trustworthy, and creative. Previous experience working with professionals such as web designers, graphic designers, and audio/video professionals is preferred. Network Analyst • Information Technology
This is a full-time, twelve-month, exempt position that reports to the Director of Networking.
The purpose of this position is to help maintain the operational integrity of the campus servers and network. Duties of the position are as follows: perform server installation, monitor network printing environments, assist with network authentication tasks, write various programs and scripts, provide after hour support in response to network alerts, perform database administrator functions, and maintain a working knowledge of continuing developments in the networking field.
Qualified applicant must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field; experience with the installation of computer network equipment; experience with the network operating system(s) currently in use at the University; a working knowledge of routing, bridging, wireless, and protocol implementation; possess skills in diagnosing hardware and software problems; and programming experience in a procedural language (Java, C, Perl).
Physical requirements include ability to work in environmentally-diverse settings, to install equipment which may weigh up to 100 pounds. Must possess the ability to drive a vehicle, use hand tools, see and read screen layouts, and the ability to grasp computer concepts easily so as to keep pace with the changing campus network environment.

Serials Technical Assistant • Centennial Library
This is a full-time, twelve-month, non-exempt position that reports to the Director of Library Collection Services.
The primary responsibilities of this position are to order, receive, and manage print periodicals and other serial publications received by the Library. Main tasks involve processing various formats of incoming serials; ordering new serials titles; verifying and preparing invoices for current subscriptions; maintaining the serials collection; resolving problems with unfilled subscriptions; and managing the bindery process for serials. This position involves the use of a variety of computer automated systems and some supervision of student library assistants.
Qualified applicant must possess at least two years of college and/or library work experience; be computer and keyboard literate; able to learn and retain computer procedures accurately; have good organizational and communication skills; demonstrate a work ethic that emphasizes accuracy, details, and the timely completion of tasks; able to perform moderate lifting; able to move boxes and materials; and able to review and evaluate materials visually.

Stewardship Assistant • Advancement Services
This is a full-time, twelve-month, non-exempt position that reports to the Director of Advancement Services.
The purpose of this position is to serve as the primary gift and pledge processor for the University by maintaining donor demographic information, recording donations, tracking pledges, and providing assistance to the Stewardship Accountant. Duties of the position are as follows: to produce receipts for all donations, provide support services to university donors, supervise student workers in their daily tasks; and to represent Cedarville University at donor events when called upon.
Qualified applicant must possess an Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s degree preferred); minimum of one year of work experience (three plus years preferred); exceptional skills in typing (45+ wpm) and in 10 key; experience in maintaining high levels of confidentiality; exceptional attention to detail with a working knowledge of bookkeeping procedures; and advanced skill in Microsoft Word, Excel, and database software.
Physical requirements include the ability to operate a computer; lift objects up to 25 pounds on occasion; prioritize work with minimal supervision; and provide instruction to customers on required procedures.
