What is Right Start?
Right Start is a summer academic program that helps students improve the skills necessary for success in college. Students learn
these skills in daily Right Start seminars and then put them into practice in a real college credit course. The Right Start
Summer Sessions begins June 13 and concludes July 1.
What College Course will I take?
Right Start students are enrolled in Christian Life and Thought. This three semester credit course is part of the Bible minor
required of all Cedarville students. The course is also transferable to any college or university. Enrollment is limited and
registration is completed on a "first come, first served" basis. A $250 reservation deposit should be sent with your reply card
if you plan to attend Right Start.
What happens once I complete the program?
In addition to a grade for the course, student will receive a personal evaluation from their tutor. Students are evaluated on
their classroom performance, cooperation, and motivation. Students with strong evaluations and satisfactory course grades will
be allowed to continue at Cedarville in the fall semester. Approval to continue at Cedarville will be mailed July 15.
Who should attend?
