Class Descriptions

Spin Class

Spin Class is an intense upbeat workout on stationary bikes that is beneficial for any rider ranging from beginner to advanced. It is a 50 minute class that works every area of the body while building cardiovascular endurance and muscular strength. This is a great opportunity to get a total-body workout while having a blast!

Kenpo Karate

Kenpo is a practical, self-defense system that teaches a person how to move and react when attacked. Kenpo seeks to teach enough to stop the action against a person, and prevent further action from occurring. By learning the techniques and moves, the student will learn proper movement, timing, and power principles to help him to walk away from a life-or-death situation. This class is great for guys and girls.

H.I.T. Class

H.I.T. is a High Intensity Training class designed to increase both your strength and cardio at the same time. It is composed of body weight workouts, bosu balls and bands, as well as plyometrics. This class will help you overcome mental barriers in your fitness training as well as dramatically improve your physical conditioning for sports!

Tae Kwon Do

Tae Kwon Do is a Korean martial art designed to provide an unarmed person with the skills and ability to defend themselves in any situation. It teaches simple techniques that focus on powerful strikes to critical areas, and ultimately getting away from an assailant. In addition to self defense, it's also a great way to stay in shape; promoting strength, balance, flexibility, speed, and endurance.

Colonial Dancing 101: Dance like it's 1792!

If you want to dance like Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth in Pride and Prejudice, then this class is for you! A mixture of ballroom and line dancing, Colonial dancing is a fun way to relive the past. Back then, people danced in groups with fancy footwork and rhythmic patterns. This course will teach you how to do several of the most popular colonial dances. No experience necessary.
