Most of the more than 1,250 students who work on the campus of Cedarville University take advantage of the employment opportunities available with Pioneer Food Services (serving the dining hall, the Hive, catering as special events, etc.).
On Friday, August 16 at 11 a.m. and Saturday, August 17 at 9 a.m. Pioneer Food Services will be available in the Doden Field House to answer questions concerning jobs and to assign students a time slot for interviewing with Pioneer Food Services. The Doden Field House is located at the rear of the Fitness Center.
The dining hall is open seven days a week and serves three meals each day. By accepting a work assignment, you are making a commitment to be at each shift. Additionally, your work schedule will have priority over Getting Started Week activities, so please plan accordingly. If you are unable to continue working during the semester, please exercise courtesy and consult with Pioneer management personnel.
The student must be processed through the Payroll Office. A representative of the Payroll Office will be available at the Information Desk located in the Stevens Student Center to help new students complete their tax paperwork on August 19 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and on August 20 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Please reference the Payroll Office FAQ page for information regarding what documents are required for employment.
New students interested in additional on-campus employment opportunities must reference the Jobs on Campus page and view available positions. Students can complete profiles and submit information to various departments on campus.
