SPC Setup Instructions: How to Get Connected

There are two steps associated with connecting and using your Self-Provided Computer (SPC) on Cedarville's wireless network.

  1. Connect your SPC to wireless - this is usually a one-time setup that will remain on your computer unless specific action is taken to remove it (i.e., reinstalling Windows or deleting the wireless network association).

  2. Download University provided software for your SPC - this software includes GroupWise (optional, Cedarville's e-mail client) and Symantec antivirus (if your computer does not already have antivirus protection).

After completing these steps you will be able to surf the Internet, collect your e-mail, and access documents and files stored on the campus network (i.e., your H: drive and the S: and T: project drives).
