Book Review: Quiet Strength

January 1, 0001

Quiet StrengthThis is a must read. It gives you an inside look into how Tony coaches and leads. Having heard Tony Dungy speak at a Zig Zigler Conference at Conseco (home of the Indiana Pacers) in Indianapolis, I knew Tony was excellent at communicating Biblical principles and in this book I learned more about his walk with Christ.

Tony discusses the ups and downs of coaching with disappointments as well as the highs. He has been through a lot in his life which adds to his strength through Christ. I especially appreciated his care and concern for his coaches and players. Obviously, recruiting the right coaches is a big part of his philosophy. It was clear others had a big impact on his life, but more importantly he has made it a priority to invest in others. Don’t take my word on this one, read it for yourself.
